This will liven up the variety of the pulses or vegetables.

Indian Sauce


Garlic clove – 1

Ginger – grated little

Cumin seeds – 2 tea spoons

Onion chopped – 1

Tomatoes – 3 or 4 sliced


Fry the crushed clove garlic, grated ginger, cumin seeds and chopped onions. Add the tomato pieces and cook, stirring for 15 minutes until thickened.

This sauce can be poured over the pulse or vegetables just before serving.
